Upon arrival, reception acts as a poised threshold, setting up immediate visual clarity. From here, the plan unfolds in a linear yet intuitive sequence: the high-energy trade workstation zone anchors one side, while HR and IT staff areas are strategically positioned for accessibility yet buffered from trading intensity. The cafeteria and breakout spaces punctuate the layout, offering calibrated pauses along the circulation path.
The architects retain their earlier commitment to zoning as doctrine. Public to semi-private to operational—each layer is carefully graded. However, unlike the more bifurcated hierarchy of the floor beneath, this level demonstrates a subtle flattening of spatial power dynamics. The emphasis shifts toward collaboration, speed of communication and team synergy.
“The base floor demanded agility,” reflects Mehul. “The design had to support faster workflows while retaining the visual and material continuity of the overall corporate office.”
The passage ceiling—articulated with linear and disciplined grid—quietly reinforces orientation. Its crisp geometry underscores movement without dramatics. What was once a bold infrastructural gesture now feels restrained, almost effortless.
